Western (WWU) Students Saturday Routine at Woods
Day 48 of 90. Daily Art.
Western Washington University is in Bellingham, a beautiful campus on the hill overlooking the bay. AND - one can audit classes for free once you are sixty. I can't wait to grow up!!
Here are some students catching up on a Saturday at Woods coffee on Lakeway.
Micron Pen, Daniel Smith Watercolor sticks, sketchbook - Travelogue, by Global Arts.
BTW - I am in the process of building a new website, it has many of my work there but no shopping cart yet.
A little sketching while watching the last hour of the PGA tournament at the Riviera today. Each sketch is just trying to capture the essence of the golfer and their stance. I used a method called 'drawing through', which means just that, it's not a contour but your pen/pencil really doesn't lift off the paper until you are done so you are drawing through the figure at times. (At least that's what I think it means). Each one is just a 10 second sketch. Very rough, but good practice.
