Road Trip 2020 - More Sketches

Arches National Park in Moab, Utah is such a wonderful, rich, painter's playground.   I would love to go back to just paint but it's in the middle of nowhere, I'm not sure which major airport is closest.

Gouache paint.

As you drive into the park, the rock formations just keep unfolding and unfolding.  It's a huge park, and like the Met or the Louvre, you pick your favorite works of art according to how much time you can spend there and save the rest for your next visit.

Watercolor, both sketches on Stillman and Birn, Delta Series sketchbook.
