Heritage Park - Dogwood

The Plein air group met at Heritage Park in Old Town yesterday.  It was a beautiful day, and the dogwoods are in bloom.  At least I think this is a dogwood.  This park is a collection of historical Colonial andVictorian homes that have been moved here.  Many of the folks that lived in these homes were part of founding the city of San Diego.  Among all of the houses in this park, I felt like this tree had to be painted above all else.  Perhaps it is the transience that is compelling.
