A View from Kate Sessions Park

Yesterday was a very warm and beautiful day, even in La Jolla.  I was painting with the San Diego Plein Air Painters at Kate Sessions Park in the morning, in the Mt Soledad area, kind of close to my very favorite French restaurant and bakery - the French Gourmet.  This view is overlooking Mission Bay.  

I've been cleaning out my studio - stacking up the keepers and the 'others'.  I now have an entirely new inventory of canvases to be painted over, about 30 or so in addition to the brand new canvases and wood panels that Santa gave to me.  I also just ordered some new paint and brushes, both from England.  If you are a painter, no doubt you know the brands.  Can't wait!
