Day 17 and 18 of Thirty Day Painting Challenge

Two Pear.

I'm trying out a new watercolor block of Fabriano 1264 paper.  Interesting paper, kind of toothy, easy to lift.  I think it might be good for studies and multimedia.

 I painted at Miramar Lake this morning from my car because it was as they say a "Soft Morning", a mix of mist and drizzle.  

Watercolor on Aquabord.  

Aquabord is a panel with layers of clay and mineral ground.  It can be very challenging but I'm enjoying the challenge and I like the results, the translucent nature of the paint.
