Day 81 of 100. Along the Nooksack River.

I took a drive this afternoon in search of eagles.  We get a lot during the salmon spawning season which comes to an end in March.  I headed east to Deming, and then followed the North fork of the Nooksack.  I sited about 4 -5 eagles.  And found about 7 or 8 huge nests.  I’m talking penthouses!   I am in awe of these birds, just looking for them draws me out of own head and into mindfulness.  Such a treat to find them!   Anyway, this painting is of a farm right across from where one of eagles was perched!
