Day 77 of 100. Dockside

I did my value sketch on site and then did the rest in my studio.  I also did a color study before I did the painting.  I enjoyed this process, I’m finding the drawing and sketching stage more and more enjoyable.  I can do some design and get more acquainted with the subject during the color study as well.  Now- I need to create a habit of this and do it all on location!
