Sitting On Top of the World
I painted this from a reference photo taken by the fisherman in the boat in the foreground. He and my brother were fishing in Trout Lake, NW Ontario. When I saw the composition I knew I wanted to paint it so permission was granted and away I went. I did a draft and had to tweak my drawing and values a bit but I am happy about the result. What fun because the photographer knew what he was doing!
