Shelter Island, San Diego

I painted with the San Diego Watercolor Society this past weekend at Shelter Island, down by Humphrey's.  The morning started with a demo by Shuang Li, world famous painter who happens to call San Diego her home.  (Fortunately for us San Diegans!). 

                                  

I painted the one below on location, with a quite a few watercolorists, some of the nicest people (next to the Irish of course).  After we painted, Shuang did a critique which was very informative and positive.  She is a very good instructor and communicator.
