Study in Shadows

It was a chilly morning in Carlsbad, but at least it was sunny.  Both the San Diego Plein Air Painters and the California Art Club were painting at Leo Carillo Ranch.  It's a Peafowl farm, beautiful peacocks saunter all around the ranch.  This is the side of their stables, and most of the morning there was a peacock perched on the ledge of the half door.  I didn't put one in the painting, but I might still.
