Flowers and Pears

Flowers and pears.  It has been a cold week here in San Diego, very wintery - relatively speaking.  In the studio and practicing with composition - this one started with only 2 pears, a different bowl in the back and a much different fore and background color scheme.   As I started to paint I modified the composition and feel like I ended up in a better place. I finally just put the brush down when I got the 'impression' I was looking for.
