First Light

This is one of the lifeguard stands at the beach right below the Torrey Pines Reserve.  This painting is from reference,  from one of the many shots I've taken on my frequent hikes there.  It's early and the air is brisk, and I love how the stands get lit up by the sun when it has just started coming through.
