Winter is here!

 Winter came on with a lot of rain this year, we've had three atmospheric rivers hit our town and county in the northwest corner of Washington, wreaking havoc and worse.  On the positive side, I've been able to get my 2022 Calendar published and up on the website.  Thank you to those of you who have purchased it, there are more left!  (see website KatharineEngh.com to purchase)

The following two pieces are on Aquabord, a surface that I am exploring, new to me and really fun.  Pigments just have a party on this surface!  'Majestic Maple' and 'Out in the County' were juried into the Jansen Art Center's winter show, and will be in their gallery until the end of February.

'Peak Reflections', below, was juried into the Plein Air Washington Artist's winter show and it won Third Place!  I am so grateful to be included in this collection of wonderful artists. Thank you to Aimee Erickson, the juror.  The show, which goes through the end of January is at the beautiful American Art Company in downtown Tacoma and can be viewed online at their website.
