Spring in the Northwest

 Back in Washington just in time for April showers and May flowers.  Here are some recent studies and sketches.

Daffodil fields in Skagit Valley.  Tulips are on the way.

When cut daffodils hit water they start opening up,  when I started this sketch in pencil they were closed.

Just a little direct painting (without pencil sketch), this is always fun to do to loosen up.
