Day 36 of 100. Slade Castle.

This is Slade.  A small village not far from Hook Head.  

This painting was a challenge to my preference for lost edges. Although I painted the cottages in the first wash with one fell swoop, from that point forward it was difficult for me to decide how much was needed to define the buildings - and do they need to be defined as individual buildings?  They are only supporting the focal point. If I did this fifty more times...
