Day 2 of 100. Still Life with Baguette

I’ve been learning and relearning to bake bread.  This bread heel is from my latest experiment of how to make baguettes without a special pan. Solution: ‘Steve the Bread Guy’ on YouTube.  Solid recipe and baking instructions, my bread has a nice crunchy crust to it.  I leave a pizza stone in the oven during the bake, then place the baguettes on the stone directly for the last few minutes.
