In the Clouds

Day 65 of 90.  Daily Art.

I painted (and hiked) at Mt. Baker a few times this past summer.  This view is from Artist's point which is completely covered in snow and unreachable during the winter.  It's the highest point (mile 54) from where one can hike around to see Shuksan and Baker.  Looking outward from Artist's Point, on a clear day you will see Mt Shuksan, but as I stood there, in a matter of minutes Shuksan became engulfed in clouds.   (Same scene below on an 80 degree, sunny day)
