The Egg Lady - Farmer's Market, Del Mar

Spent the afternoon at the Del Mar Farmer's market this past Saturday.  As everyone was setting up, I was sketching.  Once it opened I started painting.  The sketching was challenging, again trying to capture gestures as people moved around.  It's good practice - I need to get to the point where I am familiar enough with the angles and proportions that people in motion are easier to sketch.  The bonus of painting at a Farmer's Market is being around good food - I grabbed a couple sambusas from the stall next to me while I was taking a break and a french baguette on the way out.  All around a satisfying day!
