I toured around the Wicklow Mountains a couple of years ago and stopped in Glendalough, found this old church and was entranced. Of course I had to go to Avoca too, which is the real location for the filming of Ballykissangel, one of my favorite shows. And then on to County Wexford to paint with friends.
